The Scout Group takes part in two big parades a year, St George’s Day and Remembrance Day and we ask for ALL of our members to make the effort to attend these important events in the Scouting Calendar. We also take part in 6 further Church Services throughout the year and hope to see many of our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts attend these also.
St George’s Day Parade
We join the rest of Chesterfield District Scouts to parade through the Town Centre and take part in a service to celebrate St George, the Patron Saint of Scouting. All Beavers, Cubs & Scouts should attend in FULL, SMART uniform. This year’s parade will take place in the afternoon of:
Sunday 24th April (1.30pm – 4.15pm)
Remembrance Day Parade
The Scout Group will be take part in the annual Remembrance Parade and Service in Brimington along with the Air Cadets, Royal British Legion and Girlguiding Groups. We ask all Beavers, Cubs, Scouts & Young Leaders to attend wearing FULL SMART UNIFORM and a poppy. This year’s parade will take place in the afternoon of:

Church Services
The Scout Group also attends 5 parade services a year at St Michael’s Church in Brimington. Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Leaders should meet outside the Church Hall at 9.45am in FULL, SMART uniform. Parents are welcome to stay for the service, or collect youngsters at 11.15am.
